Surrogacy Packages and Contracts

I know many of you would find it helpful to know what the contracts look like – so I wanted to post the ones I received for you. Some of them can be a bit confusing, but the clinic will be more than happy to explain anything that you have a question about. Please also note that the contracts are subject to change every few months as the business grows, so depending on when you read this post, it would be good idea to go to their website to get the latest copy.

Below are the principal agreements for the various levels of contract, with their current pricing (cost is in Euros). You would sign whichever package you choose, and each of the package benefits are outlined in this agreement. For those of you considering, it would be good to go through the package and see what benefits are important to you, and choose accordingly. I will try outline the major differences per package to the best of my ability, but please remember that I do not work for the clinic, and am just interpreting the contracts like you.

All-inclusive Economy €29900

  • No pediatrician services or medications are covered after birth. Pediatrician services per visit, run about €10-15, and medications can vary in price.
  • In case of miscarriage, abortion, or death of child past the 12 week mark, the surrogate fee of €6000 must be paid in addition to the package cost. Anything that happens before the 12 week mark, the agency will take care of.
  • If you choose to pay through bank transfer, you will be charged an additional 10% fee for each payment.
  • In case your baby is born premature, you are responsible for paying any medical fees after the day of birth.
  • If you have twins, you must pay an additional €3000 after birth.
  • You cannot be at the birth of the baby – you will be able to meet your baby after the hospital clears the baby for leaving the hospital.

All-inclusive Standard €39900

  • You will be provided a cellphone with a Ukrainian carrier for communication.
  • You will stay at a better villa or hotel than the economy package.
  • A pediatrician will see your child every other day after birth.
  • Regardless of how far along the surrogate is, if the case of miscarriage, abortion, or death of child, the agency will take care of the cost of paying the surrogate and finding a new one.
  • In case your baby is born premature, the agency will pay all medical fees regardless.
  • If you have twins, you must pay an additional €3000 after birth.
  • You will have 4 hours of nursery and babysitting services available to you every day.
  • You cannot be at the birth of the baby – you will be able to meet your baby after the hospital clears the baby for leaving the hospital.

All-inclusive VIP €49900

  • You will be provided a cellphone with a Ukrainian carrier for communication.
  • You will stay in a standard room at the Venice Hotel or a luxury apartment for the first two visits, and on your final visit, you will stay in a bigger suite that specially equipped for babies (I’m assuming this means a crib, but am not certain).
  • You’ll receive a Newborn Package that includes all the things you’ll need when you start to take care of the baby.
  • You will receive PGD services, which helps eliminate poor embryos and also allows for gender selection.
  • A pediatrician will see your child every day, and there is also a 24/7 hotline for English-speaking Pediatricians, who can come visit you at any time if necessary.
  • Regardless of how far along the surrogate is, if the case of miscarriage, abortion, or death of child, the agency will take care of the cost of paying the surrogate and finding a new one.
  • In case your baby is born premature, the agency will pay all medical fees regardless.
  • If you have twins, there is no additional fee.
  • You will have 9am – 6pm nursery and babysitting services available to you every day.
  • You may attend the birth of your baby.

Regardless of package – if you aren’t able to attend the embryo transfer due to a reasonable excuse, you will be fined €3000. If there is no reason, then you will be fined €6000.

The next three contracts accompany the principal agreement chosen above. The medical contract outlines what is included in the medical care (half of it is Ukrainian):

Medical Services Contract

The IVF contract outlines what is included, and which stipulations would void the contract:

IVF Contract

The surrogate contract defines the joint agreement between the intended parents, surrogate, and clinic. There is some confusion because upon the first reading, you might see that you are responsible for paying the surrogate €200 euros a month, but that actually comes out of the package fee, so the clinic will make those payments for you. So please do not be alarmed!

Currently they don’t have ”Economy” surrogacy package. Sadly enough they sold out all of them at the begining of ’18. But it’s not surprising actually those packages became this popular. Perfect services for the reasonable prices – what could be better?! We chose all-inclusive ”Standart” for 40k euros. Dr felt ok about my eggs quality. Dh has always been perfect with his swimmers. So the embies expected had to be of high grade. They perform ivf with 5day blasts only. We asked our dr why not 3day. She told 5day were more strong and developed and more likely to make their home inside faster and smoother. Well that was a nice talk. Our lovely dr made me smile after so many inner strugglings which were near to cause me depression. I’m so thankful to her for putting our mind at ease. She was awesome and told 2 shots package would be just enough for our surrogate to work out. I mean having one more shot just in case you know. So we signed up and paid the first money sum, and officially started the program with waiting for the surrogate matching.
